I noticed this establishment on Groupon. I could tell once I called to confirm their availability & mentioned that I purchased a Groupon. There was a disappointment in her tone of voice. From once I arrived, the person had a bit of an attitude. I asked her several times if she was okay. If purchasing the Groupon was okay. She said yes. We started the massage & I had to constantly ask for lighter pressure throughout the massage. She huffed and sighed multiple times throughout my session. Which made me uncomfortable. The massage I booked was a 50 minute hot stone body massage. The massage mainly focused on my back and legs. No issue there, especially for the price. My real concern was that they tried to make me pay a 20% tip. That was not written anywhere online or printed in their establishment. I don’t mind tipping. I did tip and the fact that they tried to convince me that I HAD to pay an additional amount was the part I did not agree with. The massage was mediocre which is to be expected with the price, but to require someone leave a specific amount for a tip especially when it is not specified online or in the establishment is unprofessional.
